Introducing The Scottish Kiwi
Ryan McGhee burst onto the NZ Comedy Scene in 2020. It’s been quite the journey so far! He has been on tour to 16 cities and towns across Aotearoa, written his debut comedy show (The Scottish Kiwi) and won “Best Newcomer,” at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards (2021).

Ryan’s show “The Scottish Kiwi” has so far delighted audiences at the NZ, Dunedin, Sydney, and Whangārei fringe festivals, and has just completed a run at the 2023 NZ International Comedy Festival.

Ryan produces a number of comedy shows in the Wellington region including: Well Done Comedy, Bloody Brilliant Comedy, Crack-up Comedy, Just New Jokes and Stand-up at the Sandbar.

Ryan is also a member of NZ Comedy Guild Trust Board, and Chairman of the Kiwi Arts and Comedy Trust.
